2026–27 Age Group Formation Update

Beginning with the 2026–27 seasonal year, U.S. Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, and AYSO will transition from the current calendar-year (January–December) age group model back to a seasonal-year (August–July) model.

This means age groups will now align with the school year rather than birth year.

At Inter-United Soccer Club, we understand how important stability, communication, and community are when it comes to your child’s soccer experience. As we prepare for this transition, our staff and coaches are carefully planning each step to ensure the process is smooth and clearly communicated.

Over the coming months, we will:

  • Review and adjust rosters

  • Structure age-appropriate training environments

  • Plan evaluations and team placements

  • Provide clear resources to help families understand what this means for their player

We recognize that for some families, this change may feel significant — particularly for players who may shift to a different age group. Please know this is a nationwide adjustment, and clubs across the country are navigating the same transition as youth soccer aligns under one consistent seasonal model.

As always, our priority remains the long-term development and well-being of every player in our club. We are committed to guiding our families through this change with transparency, care, and clear communication.

Thank you for your continued trust in Inter-United Soccer Club. We are excited to move forward together and continue building a strong future for our players and our Palm Coast soccer community!
