Friday Night Soccer: FAQ’s

‘Friday Night Soccer’ in Palm Coast is home to our U6 - U16 small-sided youth soccer program.

Practices are held one day per week and games are held on Friday nights under the lights.

Where are practices?

‘Friday Night Soccer’ League teams practice at Indian Trails Sports Complex.

Practices will be held one day per week (Tuesdays) at 6pm and 7:15pm depending on the age division. Your coach/our team will email you to confirm your practice day and time before the first week of the league.

Where are Friday Night Games?

Friday Night Games are held at the beautiful Indian Trails Sports Complex. This facility provides ample parking and lights for game nights.

Games will be scheduled at 6pm and 7:15pm on Friday nights - depending on your child’s division. We will email your team’s schedule before the first game.

Can I choose a team for my child?

We do our best to meet team/teammate requests during early registration. During online registration, you’ll be prompted for your ‘Team Request’. While our team will work hard to meet these requests, we cannot guarantee them.

The registration software will automatically register your child for the correct age group (see below). Adjustments may be made during the first weeks of training to evenly distribute players and allow for the best possible competition between teams.

Please contact us if you have any questions during/after registration.

How is my child’s division determined? What size ball is needed?

What is the difference between Intro & Comp?

The difference between Intro and Comp is simple.

Intro is for kids who have never played or are beginners.

Comp is for players with more experience who are ready for a higher level of competition and training.  This happens naturally the longer a child has played.

The schedule and price of the league is the same for both divisions.

Is a jersey provided? What else does my child need to play?

All players will be provided a jersey during the first week of training. We will not be reusing uniforms or jerseys this season.

Players need to wear black shorts, black soccer socks that fully cover their shin guards, shin guards, and cleats. Shin guards and cleats are required at all training and games.

Please bring a water bottle and age-appropriate soccer ball for your child.

What are the league rules?

Take a look at our Rules - linked for each age division here.

After 30+ years in youth soccer and coaching, our directors have decided on rules that are age-appropriate and encourage our young athletes to develop their character, sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie.
